Medicare-Accepting Psychiatrists in Rockville, Maryland
Bright Horizons Psychiatry accepts Medicare for adult psychiatric evaluation, medication management, Deep TMS, and Spravato. Serving Rockville, Bethesda, and Montgomery County with board-certified psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners who take mental health seriously at every stage of life.
Finding a psychiatrist who accepts Medicare
shouldn’t take months.
Many specialty practices in the Washington, D.C. metro area have stopped accepting Medicare or only take it for select services. The result is long wait lists, limited options, and patients who end up paying out of pocket despite having coverage they’ve earned.
Bright Horizons Psychiatry accepts Medicare for adult mental health care. Evaluation. Medication management. Deep TMS for treatment-resistant depression. Spravato for treatment-resistant depression. Follow-up via telehealth across Maryland. All billed through your existing Medicare benefits.
We provide the kind of specialty psychiatric care you’d expect from an academic medical center, delivered in a boutique outpatient setting where you see the same clinician at every visit and your appointments are long enough to actually talk through what’s happening.

Conditions We Treat
Medicare-Covered Services at Bright Horizons
Every service at Bright Horizons is available to patients on Original Medicare, and most are available through Medicare Advantage plans (coverage verified case by case).
Psychiatric Evaluation
Your first visit is a 60 to 90 minute comprehensive evaluation with a board-certified psychiatrist. We review your mental health history, current symptoms, previous treatments, current medications, medical conditions, and treatment goals. For most patients with supplemental coverage, the out-of-pocket cost is minimal.
Medication Management
Ongoing visits every two to four weeks early in treatment, extending to monthly or less as you stabilize. Visits are long enough to actually discuss side effects, adjust dosing thoughtfully, and coordinate with your other physicians.

You Don’t Have to Diagnose Yourself
Reading about symptoms can clarify things, or leave you with more questions. Either way, the next step is the same. A conversation with a psychiatrist who can evaluate what you’re experiencing, rule out other causes, and help you decide what comes next.
