TMS, Spravato, and Treatment-Resistant Depression Specialists in Rockville, MD
Bright Horizons Psychiatry is a specialty psychiatric practice in Rockville, Maryland. We focus on treatment-resistant depression, complex mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, and adult ADHD for patients who need more than standard medication management. Our clinic offers TMS therapy, Spravato (esketamine), IM ketamine, and comprehensive medication management under one roof at 6000 Executive Blvd, Suite 101.
Our practice is led by Dr. Amir Etesam, a Johns Hopkins-affiliated psychiatrist, alongside two psychiatric nurse practitioners. We accept most major commercial insurance, Medicare Part B, and Maryland Medicaid, and our team handles prior authorizations so you know what’s covered before your first visit.

A Specialty Psychiatric Practice Built for Rockville and the Surrounding Area
Most psychiatric practices in Rockville focus on standard medication management and talk therapy. Bright Horizons is different. We specialize in advanced, evidence-based treatments for adults whose depression, anxiety, or OCD hasn’t responded fully to traditional approaches. That includes TMS, Spravato, and IM ketamine, alongside thorough psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive medication management.
Our patients come from across Montgomery County, including Bethesda, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Kensington, and Aspen Hill, but Rockville is home. Our office sits just off Rockville Pike, minutes from the Twinbrook Metro station, with free parking in the building’s attached garage. We see patients in person at this location and offer telehealth follow-up appointments to established patients across Maryland.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first appointment is always in person at our Rockville clinic and runs 60 to 90 minutes. This longer initial visit gives us time to do a thorough psychiatric evaluation, review your medication and treatment history in depth, understand what’s worked and what hasn’t, and have an honest conversation about what makes sense to try next.
If TMS, Spravato, or ketamine is appropriate for your situation, we walk through the process, the timeline, and your specific insurance coverage before anything is scheduled. Same-week appointments are usually available, and no referral is needed for most patients.
