Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No. You can book directly — whether this is your first psychiatrist visit or you are switching providers. Call (240) 599-1001 or use online booking, whichever is easier.

What mental health conditions do you treat?

We treat depression (including treatment-resistant depression), anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and related mood conditions. If you are unsure what fits, start with a consultation and we will sort it out together.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Most new patients are seen within a few business days. Initial evaluations are in person at Rockville or Frederick; follow-ups can often be done by telehealth once you are established.

Do you offer virtual / telehealth appointments?

Yes — after your first in-person visit. Follow-ups can be done securely by video from anywhere in Maryland, with the same provider and chart.

Does insurance cover IM ketamine?

Usually not. Sessions are cash pay at $349 each. Your initial consultation is still billed to insurance when your plan covers it. If you need a covered treatment option, Spravato or Deep TMS may be a better fit.

Which location should I choose for IM ketamine?

Pick whichever office is easier to reach. IM ketamine is available at both. If you may also need Deep TMS, start in Rockville — that is the only Bright Horizons office with BrainsWay on site.
