What to expect at the Frederick clinic
A clinician administers the intramuscular dose in the office. The injection itself is brief; you stay for monitored recovery before you leave. Bring headphones if music helps you settle. You cannot drive afterward, so arrange a ride.

If someone can collect you, that is simplest. Rideshare is reliable around Urbana and Frederick city and thinner toward Middletown and Mount Airy, so check it in advance if you are coming from further west.
