TMS, Spravato, and Treatment-Resistant Depression Specialists Serving Chevy Chase, MD

Chevy Chase has many excellent psychiatrists, but few practices offer TMS, Spravato, and IM ketamine in the same clinic. We do, and our Rockville office is about 15 to 20 minutes north of Chevy Chase via Wisconsin Avenue or Connecticut Avenue.

We specialize in treatment-resistant depression, complex mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, and adult ADHD for patients who need advanced options when standard medication and therapy haven’t been enough. Our practice is led by a Johns Hopkins-affiliated psychiatrist, and we accept most major commercial insurance including federal employee plans.

Why Chevy Chase Patients Choose Bright Horizons

Most Chevy Chase residents have access to skilled psychiatrists locally, and many have worked with one for years. The patients who travel north to our clinic are usually looking for something specific. Either two or more antidepressants haven’t worked well enough, their current psychiatrist has recommended TMS or Spravato, or they want a comprehensive evaluation from a practice that focuses specifically on treatment-resistant cases.

Our clinic is led by Dr. Amir Etesam, a Johns Hopkins-affiliated psychiatrist, alongside two psychiatric nurse practitioners. We coordinate care with your existing therapist or primary care doctor in Chevy Chase, and we treat the 15-minute drive as a small price for access to treatments that can change the course of difficult depression.
