What to expect at the Rockville clinic

A clinician administers the intramuscular dose in the office. The injection itself is brief; you stay for monitored recovery before you leave. You cannot drive afterward, so arrange a ride. Unlike Spravato's fixed REMS protocol, IM ketamine dosing and timing are set with your clinician.

The only location with Deep TMS

Rockville has BrainsWay Deep TMS on site. Frederick does not. If you are not sure whether IM ketamine, Spravato, or TMS fits, you can be evaluated for all of them at the same address in one visit, instead of repeating your history to a second practice across town.

What we treat at this location

  • Treatment-resistant depression
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety
  • OCD
  • Bipolar II depression

We do not treat bipolar I, psychosis, substance use disorders, or personality disorders, and we will refer you on if that is what you need.

Cash-pay sessions, published pricing

Because IM ketamine is used off-label for depression, sessions are cash pay at $349 rather than insurance. That also means no prior authorization wait. Your initial consultation is still billed to insurance when your plan covers it. If you need a covered treatment option, Spravato or Deep TMS may be a better fit — both are available here.
